Spread is generally proportional to height.\u003cbr\u003e3.  **Sunlight (Sun):** **Requires Full Sun.** Minimum 6-8 hours of direct sunlight daily for optimal growth, strong stems, and abundant flowering. Less sun leads to weak, leggy growth and fewer blooms.\u003cbr\u003e4.  **Temperature:** Thrives in warm summer temperatures. **Frost-Tender:** Tubers cannot survive freezing soil. Growth begins in spring when soil warms; plants are killed by the first hard frost in fall.\u003cbr\u003e5.  **Water:** Needs **consistent moisture**, especially during hot, dry periods and when buds are forming\/blooming.
