Place seed on top of soil and press onto soil, do not cover with soil, but put a clear lid\/cover over pot until seedling is half inch tall. Refrigeration can be beneficial or plant out in the fall for spring emergence. Germ in 21 to 30 days. Is kind of difficult to get started. Even the baby sprouts do not like much water. Can grow up in pots until large enough for landscape. Part shade, especially in hot afternoon.
